A Taste of the Atlantic Canada Festival

Saturday, evening, November 5th, Our Instructor Amanda Lyons and her students Thunder, Christina and Connie from our Hospitality and Tourism Course got to experience a great evening at the BeaverBrook Art Gallery for a beautiful 5 course dinner for the Taste of the Atlantic Canada Festival. The presentation was amazing and the food was delicious.

A Taste of Atlantic Canada Festival was an event that highlighted Indigenous culture through food from all across the Atlantic Provinces.

It is an amazing opportunity to be a part of the rich Indigenous culture and to be able to share with our students.

The menu was as follows;

  • Corn and lobster soup
  • Smoked duck tortellini and seared scallop
  • Venison cappaccio with arugula and mushroom
  • Salmon and three sisters and finished off with a beautiful
  • Sweet grass panna cotta
